Summary

We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with expertise in water and wastewater systems to support a diverse portfolio of municipal, industrial, and environmental projects. Description

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of water treatment, wastewater treatment, stormwater, and water resource projects.
  • Develop engineering studies, technical evaluations, and design recommendations for water infrastructure systems.
  • Utilize hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software to evaluate system performance and support engineering decisions.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and construction documents.
  • Support project execution through budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, and client coordination.
  • Conduct site assessments, field investigations, and construction observations as required.
  • Coordinate permitting activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical support for environmental compliance, remediation, and water management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, surveyors, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project lifecycles.
  • Analyze operational and environmental data to identify opportunities for system improvements and risk reduction.
  • Prepare regulatory submissions, technical memoranda, and project documentation.
  • Serve as a technical resource for clients and internal project teams.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client engagement, and technical presentations.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience designing and supporting water treatment, wastewater treatment, stormwater, or water resource infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools, including SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar software.
  • Experience utilizing GIS applications such as ArcGIS for mapping, analysis, and project development.
  • Proficiency with engineering design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or comparable platforms.
  • Working knowledge of environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and EPA requirements.
  • Understanding of construction practices, site development, and infrastructure project execution.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with industrial water systems, manufacturing operations, or environmental consulting projects is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
