Summary

Join an industry-leading engineering organization developing innovative process technologies that help advance renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. This position offers the opportunity to design new process technologies, support plant expansions, and develop retrofit solutions that improve plant performance, reduce energy consumption, and increase production efficiency across biorefineries. Approximately 80% of your time will be spent in the office developing process designs, preparing engineering packages, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. The remaining time will be spent supporting commissioning activities, plant startups, and troubleshooting at customer facilities to ensure successful project execution and long-term operational performance.

This organization has built a reputation for engineering excellence and a people-first culture centered around Collaboration, Humility, Ownership, Innovation, and Stewardship. Engineers are encouraged to ask questions, think beyond individual projects, and understand the complete process rather than simply completing assigned tasks. The company is known for exceptional employee retention, transparent leadership, regular company-wide meetings that keep employees informed on business goals, and a strong commitment to employee development and community involvement. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys learning, values teamwork, and wants to contribute to meaningful projects that support the future of renewable fuels.

Located just outside Wichita, Kansas, this position offers the advantages of living in one of the Midwest's premier engineering and manufacturing centers. The Wichita area combines an affordable cost of living, short commute times, excellent schools, and abundant outdoor recreation with the amenities of a metropolitan community. Home to a diverse industrial base that includes aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, and agricultural technology, the region provides outstanding long-term career opportunities while maintaining an exceptional quality of life.
